Overview:
This individual works cross-functionally with multiple departments (Technology/Customer Service/Purchasing/Warehouse Teams) as needed to provide accurate information on inventory status of all gear. The Inventory Manager shall ensure rental gear is reported in the appropriate warehouse location and matches the availability calendar within the inventory management software. This position will also be responsible for the entire life cycle of all inventories from introduction to end-of-life cycle.

Work Environment:
Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and warehouse environments and is regularly exposed to heavy machinery and noise.
Physical Demands:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand as well as a 24/7 rotational on-call schedule.
Travel:
Some travel may be required per the needs of the multiple Nationwide locations.

The Inventory Manager occupies a key tactical position, by:
- Ensuring accurate availability of rental gear within the inventory management software
- Accurately transfer gear between warehouses within the inventory management software
- Assisting with “Did not Return” and “Damage” SOP’s and directives.
- Identify and resolve inaccurate inventory scans and transfers
- Responsible for updating and maintaining inventory management software with current and accurate asset information for all active, retired and sold equipment.
- Asset number database
- Accurate Kit and/or Package information
- Accurate Weight and Dim information
- Photo and technical documentation
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Evaluating the efficiency of inventory life cycles through Product Usage Reports and providing recommendations for retirement and/or sale.
- Performing routine inventory analysis; identify and resolve discrepancies, including locating missing items or items that did not return.
- Administer and oversee company-wide bi-annual physical inventory, including spare parts
Interpersonal responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Adhere to company Handbook, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in training new employees on inventory SOP’s.
- Planning, assigning, and directing work of inventory updates.
- Establishing goals to align with overall business objectives.

- Strong technical knowledge of products
- General knowledge of continuous improvement methodology
- General knowledge of project management principles
- General knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite
- Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures
- Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and key stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to effectively train others.

- Minimum of 3 years of A/V experience or a related position
- Minimum of 1 year of Project Management and/or Inventory Control experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- 4+ years of A/V experience or a related position
- 2+ years of Project Management and/or Inventory Control experience
- Certification in a technical or related field
