Overview:
This position performs repairs to electronic Audio/Visual equipment, maintains spare parts inventory, tracks and prepares analytical repair data, and assists the warehouse as needed. This position will work closely with the Service Coordinator and will collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and other key Operations personnel.

Work Environment:
Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and warehouse environments and is regularly exposed to heavy machinery and noise. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phone, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Working Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Nationwide Video days and hours of office operations are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Travel:
Travel may be required for this position as mandated by the needs of multiple Nationwide locations which would include out-of-area and overnight travel.

Equipment repair responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot to the board level for various types of electronic equipment used in the Audio/Video events industry. Determine whether equipment can be repaired in-house or send to vendor:
- Replace parts as needed
- Repair physical damage as needed
- Determine any potential cause of damage and report client related damage to the Service Coordinator.
- Update and maintain equipment repair status and spare parts inventory using internal software systems.
- Work with Service & Repair manager and team to prioritize repair of equipment.
- Track and routinely communicate with manufacturers regarding equipment repair and RMA status.
- Assist Service Coordinator with spare parts inventory and replacement orders
- Assist Coordinator with distribution and shipping of spare parts/repair parts
- Communicate repair status to the Service Coordinator
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Identify areas of potential cost reduction.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned area(s).
- Assist with warehouse and QC operations as needed.
Technical Competencies:
- Broad QC problem solving and troubleshooting skills such as root cause research, convergence, bore sight adjustments, board level diagnosis, and minor adjustments and repair
- Basic to broad knowledge of AV manufacturers, products, and software such as cameras, intercom, freespeak, LED and projection
- Broad knowledge of safety procedures and proper disposal process for AV products
- Excellent Problem Solving and Troubleshooting Skills

- Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic equipment troubleshooting and repair
- 1-3 years of experience in performing QC functions on AV products
- Completed technical courses on AV products
- High School Diploma
Preferred Education and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in electronic equipment troubleshooting and repair
- 3+ years of experience in performing QC functions on AV products
- Experience in technical service
- Associates Degree or Certificate in electronic technology or electronic repair
